Many of the products used in the chemical industry require certification according to the British Standard 5609 Section 2. To meet this standard, the label must endure for at least 3 months immersed in sea water without separating from the container. In this way, containers and this type of chemicals can be transported by sea without difficulty.
Due to the toxicity and hazards of some compounds, these labels must be prepared to withstand the time and even the ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Therefore, this type of label has a strong adhesive even on curved, rough, dusty and greasy surfaces.
